These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at postalannexgigharbor.com (the "Site") and the services provided by PostalAnnex of Gig Harbor, operated by Goodnight and Goodwill LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), an independently owned and operated franchise (#19004, Annex Brands, Inc.). By using the Site, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
Our services
We provide pack-and-ship, freight, printing and copies, professional packing, private and virtual mailbox rental, notary public services (in-shop, mobile, and remote online notarization), passport photos and application assistance, and direct-mail services. Some services can be requested or paid for online; others are provided in person at our store. Service availability, hours, and pricing may change.
Orders, pricing, and payment
- Prices shown online are estimates based on the details you provide. The final price is confirmed when your order is reviewed and may differ if the actual specifications, quantities, weight, or dimensions differ from what was entered.
- Online print orders are priced by our system and charged through our payment processor, Stripe. By placing an order you authorize us to charge the amount shown at checkout, plus any applicable sales tax.
- Notary, passport, packing, freight, and mailbox services may require payment in person, a deposit, or both. We will tell you the price before we begin.
- We may decline or cancel any order — for example, if it contains an error, cannot be fulfilled, or appears fraudulent. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund it.
Refunds and cancellations
Because printing and packing are custom services, orders that have already been produced or materials that have been used are generally non-refundable. If there is a defect or error on our part, contact us promptly and we will reprint, repack, or refund as appropriate. Services already performed — such as a completed notarization or a submitted passport application — are non-refundable. Shipping charges are non-refundable once a label has been used. Shipping and carriers
When you ship with us, your shipment is carried by the carrier you select (UPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL) and is subject to that carrier's terms, conditions, and limitations of liability. Delivery estimates are provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed by us. Carrier liability for loss or damage is limited; for valuable items we recommend purchasing declared-value coverage. You are responsible for accurately describing your shipment and for not shipping items the carrier or the law prohibits.
Packing services
When we professionally pack an item, carriers may honor declared-value coverage that they would not honor on a self-packed item. We pack with care using appropriate materials, but coverage for loss or damage is provided by the carrier under its terms, not by us. We are not liable for damage beyond the coverage you purchase from the carrier.
Notary services
- Our notaries public are commissioned in the State of Washington. We notarize signatures and administer oaths; we do not provide legal advice and cannot tell you which document to sign or how to complete it.
- You must appear in person (or, for remote online notarization, by approved audio-video technology), present valid government-issued identification, and be willing and aware. We may refuse a notarization where the law requires us to — for example, if identity cannot be verified, the signer appears coerced, or the act would be improper.
- Notarial act fees are set by Washington law. Any separate service, travel, or convenience fees are disclosed before service and are not required by law.
Passport services
We provide passport photos and assistance preparing and submitting passport applications. We are an independent service provider and are not the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Postal Service, or any government agency. We cannot guarantee that an application will be approved or the time the government will take to process it. Government fees are separate from our service fees and are payable to the government.
Mailbox services
Private mailbox rental requires a completed USPS Form 1583 and two acceptable forms of identification, as required by federal regulations. You agree to use the mailbox lawfully and to keep your contact and payment information current. Mail and packages are held according to our posted policies. If your rental lapses or is terminated, mail may be returned to sender or handled as the regulations allow. Fees for setup, additional names, and renewals are as quoted at signup.
Printing and your content
When you submit files for printing or mailing, you represent that you own or have permission to use the content and that printing it does not infringe anyone's rights or violate any law. You retain ownership of your content; you grant us the limited right to reproduce it only to fulfill your order. We may refuse to print or mail material that is illegal, infringing, or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, threatening, or otherwise improper. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from the content you submit.
Acceptable use and prohibited items
You may not use our services to ship, mail, or produce anything prohibited by law or by the applicable carrier — including hazardous materials outside carrier rules, illegal drugs, certain weapons, counterfeit goods, or items intended to defraud. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation or security.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content — text, design, graphics, and logos other than third-party marks — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. "PostalAnnex" and related marks are trademarks of Annex Brands, Inc., used under franchise. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without permission.
Disclaimers
The Site and our services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that estimates, transit times, or third-party information will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PostalAnnex of Gig Harbor and Goodnight and Goodwill LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising out of your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service will not exceed the amount you paid us for that service. Liability for loss or damage to shipments is governed by the selected carrier's terms and the coverage you purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PostalAnnex of Gig Harbor, Goodnight and Goodwill LLC, and our owners and staff from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our services, the content you submit, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pierce County, Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page. Your continued use of the Site or our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
